Millions of users around the world need to constantly watch their homes, especially when there are children in the home. In addition, home surveillance reduces the risk of theft or unwanted entry. And Amazon has a special device in this regard, which is the Ring Always Home Camera.
Amazon had unveiled this camera the year before, but it had announced the start of its availability on demand as part of its beta phase, in conjunction with its hardware conference. And this new camera is a Ring camera from Amazon, but it’s installed in a drone.
And it looks like the latest innovations from the Amazon Ring division have reached a stage of maturity. As it has started to make demand for the product available in the United States of America, the company will deliver the product to those who requested it during the year 2021.
The new Ring Always Home Cam drones solve the whole problem of on-demand home surveillance. Indeed, the flying camera will not be able to monitor the house continuously. Instead, it will fly to the area the user wants to see – like the children’s room – and after that, it will rest on its charger.
This camera supports the Ring Alarm System for Home Protection, provided by Amazon, which will make it interact with any event that takes place inside the home, such as opening a window or a door or whatever.
Amazon Ring Always Flying Cameras
It took a long time for Amazon to announce this product in its final form. There is no doubt that it will be of great benefit to a large segment of users. But – and as mentioned above – it’s only for on-demand monitoring. That is, it only works when the user instructs it to monitor a particular partial at a certain time.
The new cameras work only indoors and offer shooting resolutions up to 1080p, which can be viewed in the Ring app linked to the camera. The user can automate the work of the camera and have it fly and monitor certain parts of the house at certain times.
The new camera supports an audio filter system to isolate the sound of theft from video audio recorded or played to the user. Moreover, it supports obstacle tracking technology so that you do not encounter any obstacles inside the house.
This Ring Always Home is designed to operate on one floor. That is, he cannot move from one floor to another, whether by an elevator or stairs. However, Amazon has confirmed that it is currently developing this feature.
This flying camera comes with relatively low battery life, as it only flies and shoots for five minutes. They must therefore always return to their base to charge.
